It's the New Year, and there will be many releases, shows, festivals, and videos to look forward to. Here are the updates:
A dream lineup has been set for Norman rock fans: Kali Ra, CHUD, and The Kamals will quake the earth at The Opolis 11/15. Here is the event page - http://www.facebook.com/#!/events/103870849774706
Kali Ra will hit the road after their Norman gig to rock the stage at The Crack Fox in St. Louis, MO. Also
billing are: Iconocaust, 4 Skeevy Dudes, and the Right Handed Bandits. The event page can be found here: http://www.facebook.com/#!/events/196385913827385
The documentary by Zac Haigh still continues, a preview will be found on the official site’s Reel page. One can also view other videos such as live performances.
Music videos are still in the works, there are talks between director Mike Walsh and David Goad about some interesting concepts. Details to follow soon…
David Goad’s movie credits have been a vampire, and a naked, raving derelict. Soon to be added to the list is Victorian-era prostitute. Hopefully there will be pics soon.
Oklavision.TV has agreed to let Kali Ra perform for all of Oklahoma in December. The taping will be December 5th.
Kali Ra and Cari Wallenberg will open for Ali Harter Dec. 6th at the 51st Street speakeasy in Oklahoma City.
